SmartKargo renews cargo management partnership with mas
The renewed agreement will support multi-channel booking, real-time shipment visibility and scalable cloud technology to strengthen cargo operations.
SmartKargo has renewed its strategic partnership with mas, extending the airline's use of its cloud-native cargo management platform to support its cargo digitisation strategy and future growth.
Under the renewed agreement, mas will continue using SmartKargo's platform for multi-channel booking and distribution, real-time shipment visibility, streamlined cargo workflows and scalable cloud technology to improve cargo operations.
The renewal builds on a partnership that began in 2018 and reflects both companies' commitment to innovation and operational excellence.
"We're proud to continue supporting mas as it advances its cargo business through modern technology," said Javier Cano, AVP-Account & Business Development at SmartKargo. "This renewal demonstrates the strength of our partnership and our shared vision of delivering smarter, more connected cargo operations."
Victor Flores, Director of Digital Transformation & ICT at mas, said digital innovation remains central to the airline's growth strategy and its commitment to reliable, efficient and customer-focused cargo services. He said the partnership with SmartKargo has helped modernise core cargo processes, improve operational visibility and support the airline's changing business needs since the platform was implemented in 2018. Renewing the agreement, he added, reinforces confidence in SmartKargo's technology to enhance customer experience, drive operational excellence and support the continued expansion of mas' global cargo network.
Robert Van de Weg, CEO of mas, said the long-standing partnership with SmartKargo has played an important role in the airline's digital transformation and cargo growth. He said a scalable and innovative technology platform is essential as mas expands its operations and strengthens its position in global air cargo markets, adding that the renewed agreement reflects a shared vision of creating a more connected, efficient and customer-focused cargo ecosystem.
According to the companies, the renewed partnership will help deliver greater operational efficiency, improved customer service and continued innovation across global cargo networks.
