Freightos appoints Yaron Eldad as Chief Financial Officer
Eldad joins Freightos after senior finance roles at Evogene and e-SIM, bringing experience in international growth, restructuring, financing and public markets.

Freightos has appointed Yaron Eldad as its Chief Financial Officer, effective September 1, 2026. He will report to Chief Executive Officer Pablo Pinillos and join the company’s executive leadership team.
Eldad brings more than 25 years of experience in CFO and senior financial leadership roles across the technology and life sciences sectors. His experience includes financial and operational management, business transformation, international growth and public-company finance.
Before joining Freightos, Eldad served as CFO of Evogene, where he led the finance organisation across the group and its subsidiaries. He also oversaw several financing rounds, M&A activity and organisational restructuring.
Earlier, he served as CFO of technology company e-SIM, where he helped expand the business internationally, led its IPO and managed its finance function during its years as a Nasdaq-listed company. He also co-founded Yamba Group, where he gained experience in building and scaling an international business.

The appointment comes shortly after Freightos announced Freightos AI, an artificial intelligence platform aimed at helping freight forwarders automate repetitive tasks, bring together fragmented data and make faster, data-backed decisions. India has been selected as the first market for customer pilots. The announcement was made by Joyce Tai, Executive Vice President of Worldwide Partnerships at Freightos, at the Air Cargo Forum India World Conclave 2026 in Delhi on August 13.
Eldad said Freightos has a strong position at the intersection of technology, data and global freight. He said he would focus on supporting sustainable financial performance and the investments and operational excellence needed to scale the business.
