4RCargo has been appointed as the general sales agent (GSA) for Finnair Cargo in the Baltic region, marking the company's first airline contract in the market since establishing its Baltic operations in February 2026.

The agreement covers Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, enabling 4RCargo to represent Finnair Cargo across the three countries. The partnership was announced during The International Air Cargo Association’s (TIACA) Executive Summit in Warsaw, Poland.

Under the arrangement, freight forwarders and shippers in the Baltics will gain access to Finnair Cargo’s network connecting destinations across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North America through the carrier’s Helsinki hub. The partnership is expected to strengthen cargo connectivity for businesses in the region by linking local markets with Finnair Cargo’s international network.

“Finnair is an internationally recognised carrier with a strong global network and premium product portfolio, and we are honoured to have been chosen to represent them in the Baltics region,” said Pawel Kazmierczak, Chief Executive Officer, 4RCargo.

“The combination of Finnair Cargo’s product portfolio and 4RCargo’s regional expertise creates a strong partnership that will deliver significant benefits to customers across the Baltics.”

The partnership combines Finnair Cargo’s network and specialised logistics services with 4RCargo’s commercial and operational presence in the region. Customers in the Baltic countries will receive access to Finnair Cargo’s services through local representation, while the airline will leverage 4RCargo’s market knowledge and sales capabilities to strengthen its position in the region.

The announcement coincided with 4RCargo’s fifth anniversary celebrations during TIACA’s Executive Summit, held from June 1 to June 3 in Warsaw. The company used the occasion to highlight its expansion strategy beyond its traditional Central and Eastern European markets.

“Five years after launching in Warsaw, 4RCargo is developing from a Central and Eastern European specialist into a broader regional partner for airlines that need local knowledge and consistent delivery in growth markets,” said Kazmierczak.

Founded in 2021, 4RCargo has expanded its presence across Central and Eastern Europe through a network of regional operations and airline partnerships. The agreement with Finnair Cargo adds another carrier to its portfolio and represents a step in the company's efforts to broaden its reach across Northern and Eastern Europe.

For Finnair Cargo, the partnership strengthens its commercial presence in the Baltic region, a market that shares close geographic and economic ties with Finland. The appointment is expected to support cargo flows through Helsinki, which serves as a gateway connecting European markets with destinations across Asia, North America and the Middle East.
