Qatar Airways Cargo expands winter freighter network
New freighter services across Europe and North America will boost cargo capacity, connectivity and access to key global markets through Doha.
Qatar Airways Cargo is expanding its global freighter network for the Winter 2026 season, adding dedicated services from Copenhagen, New York (JFK) and Dallas, while introducing a direct Warsaw–Chicago connection to strengthen cargo capacity and connectivity across Europe and North America.
The carrier will launch a weekly Boeing 777 freighter service from Copenhagen on 25 October, operating Doha–Budapest–Copenhagen–Doha. The service will provide 100 tonnes of dedicated export capacity, supporting demand from Denmark and southern Sweden. It will complement Qatar Airways’ 10 weekly Boeing 787 passenger flights, which offer more than 100 tonnes of belly-hold capacity in each direction per week.
In Poland, Qatar Airways Cargo will relaunch freighter services to Warsaw on 26 October, introducing a weekly connection to Chicago. The Boeing 777 freighter will operate on the Doha–Warsaw–Chicago–Brussels–Doha route, providing Polish exporters and manufacturers with additional access to US markets.
Combined with twice-weekly freighter services to Katowice and 10 weekly wide-body passenger flights to Warsaw, the new operation will increase the airline’s total cargo capacity to and from Poland to more than 435 tonnes in each direction per week.
In North America, the carrier will introduce a weekly Boeing 777 freighter service to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport from 1 November. Operating Doha–Liège–New York–Atlanta–Liège–Doha, the service will complement 14 weekly passenger flights to and from New York, increasing total weekly cargo capacity to more than 226 tonnes in each direction.
Qatar Airways Cargo has also introduced two weekly Boeing 777 freighter services to Dallas, operating Doha–Liège–Dallas–Doha. The services provide 200 tonnes of main-deck capacity into Dallas and 100 tonnes outbound per week. Combined with 14 weekly wide-body passenger flights, the operation increases total weekly cargo capacity to more than 250 tonnes into Dallas and over 150 tonnes out of the city.
The expanded network will support shipments across pharmaceuticals and healthcare, aerospace, technology, energy, perishables, vehicles and oversized cargo, as well as high-value, time-sensitive and general industrial shipments.
Through its Doha hub, Qatar Airways Cargo connects customers to more than 160 destinations worldwide, providing additional capacity and access to key global markets.
Customers will also benefit from increased belly-hold capacity across Qatar Airways’ Winter 2026 passenger network. The expanded services are expected to strengthen Qatar Airways Cargo’s global network by increasing capacity, connectivity and routing flexibility across Europe, the Americas, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Shipments can be booked through the carrier’s Digital Lounge online portal or its omnichannel partner network.
