Chapman Freeborn delivers time-critical cargo to Mauritius

Chapman Freeborn managed to complete a time-critical cargo operation on Aug 14. An urgent equipment for a salvage mission was needed to assist the MV Wakashio ship that had just run aground on a coral reef off Mauritius.

Speed was of the essence as the hull had broken, which led to oil spillage. In just over 12 hours, Chapman Freeborn’s cargo team positioned the aircraft at Ostend–Bruges International Airport (OST) for departure to Mauritius Airport (MRU).
