Frankfurt Airport reports traffic figures amid Covid-19

Highlighting the impacts of Covid-19 pandemic, Frankfurt Airport has released a weekly report on traffic figures for March 16-22. Total cargo (airfreight and airmail) load saw a drop of 20.4 percent, standing at 36,591 metric tons. According to the report aircraft movements were reduced by 58.2 percent, observing a passenger decline of 73.5 percent.

Fraport will be releasing weekly traffic information for Frankfurt Airport (FRA), effective today. The weekly figures will be made public on Tuesday mornings at 07:00 CET. Fraport’s monthly Group Traffic Figures will continue to be published as scheduled.
