Expeditors International of Washington boost AOG support

Expeditors International of Washington, has expanded its global Aircraft on Ground (AOG) capabilities to provide enhanced support for aviation and aerospace customers facing urgent operational disruptions.

The expanded AOG service brings together dedicated critical logistics teams, 24/7/365 support centres, and access to Expeditors’ global network to deliver rapid transportation and logistics solutions for time-sensitive situations. The offering is designed to support airlines, aircraft manufacturers, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) organisations, aerospace suppliers, defence customers, advanced air mobility providers, and other aviation stakeholders with critical logistics requirements across international markets.

The expansion comes amid rising demand for specialised AOG support, driven by ageing aircraft fleets, unexpected downtime, critical parts shortages, unplanned maintenance events, and other operational challenges that require immediate logistics intervention.

In addition, customers will have access to Expeditors’ network of more than 300 locations worldwide for coordinated execution and final-mile delivery, supported by enhanced shipment monitoring, contingency management, and compliance oversight throughout the shipment lifecycle.
