CEVA Logistics starts operations at Toledo distribution hub
The Spanish facility can process more than 120 million garments annually and uses automated systems, AMRs and solar power for its operations.
CEVA Logistics has started operations at a 75,000-square-metre fashion and apparel logistics facility in Toledo, Spain, which can process more than 120 million garments a year. Located in the Santa María Benquerencia Industrial Estate, the facility has been operated by CEVA since March 2026.
The hub is designed to support both physical retail networks and eCommerce operations, with 60% of the order picking process currently automated. It includes a 10,000-square-metre intelligent storage module with a pallet racking silo capacity of more than 60,000 pallets, managed by Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs).
The facility is also expected to support regional employment, with around 400 permanent logistics employees. During peak periods and seasonal sales campaigns, it can create up to 1,000 direct regional jobs.
The Toledo facility adds to CEVA’s wider focus on automation across its logistics operations. Earlier this month, the company began a pilot of two fully electric autonomous vehicles at its Singapore Blue Hub to move inventory across the multi-level facility. The vehicles are being tested for transporting pallets, storage totes and other warehouse items across different floors.
CEVA has also been expanding its contract logistics operations in Europe. In July, the company extended its agreement with GSK for another five years to manage the pharmaceutical company’s distribution centre in Robakowo, Poland. The site uses automation and robotics for pharmaceutical logistics and serves 13 countries in Northern and Central Europe.

The LEED-certified Toledo facility also has a rooftop solar installation. Once fully operational, the silo-mounted photovoltaic system is expected to generate 500,000 kWh annually for 100% on-site consumption. The energy will support the facility’s automated systems and robotics fleet and help reduce operational carbon emissions.
