SAL Logistics has inaugurated a new distribution centre at The Logistics Park in southern Riyadh, expanding its logistics infrastructure and reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s ambition to become a leading global logistics hub.
Spanning over 45,000 square metres, the facility is one of SAL’s largest and most advanced warehouses. Located within The Logistics Park, developed by Kaden Company, it includes office spaces for lease to support various sectors such as pharmaceuticals, FMCG, and e-commerce.
The new centre will also feature a Transport Control Tower Hub, designed to centrally monitor all trucking operations. This development strengthens SAL’s move towards digitalisation and enhances the integration of its ground handling, logistics, warehousing, and distribution services.
Omar Talal Hariri, CEO of SAL, said the new centre marks an important step in enhancing the company’s storage and logistics capabilities. He added that it reflects SAL’s commitment to operational efficiency and customer service, both locally and internationally, while supporting the goals of Saudi Arabia’s National Transport and Logistics Strategy.
The inauguration aligns with SAL’s ongoing efforts to expand its infrastructure, contribute to economic growth, and strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a key global centre for trade and logistics services.
