Hong Kong Air Cargo adds extra weekly flight on Dhaka route
Hong Kong Air Cargo will operate twice-weekly flights between Hong Kong and Dhaka, enhancing South Asia connectivity.;
Hong Kong Air Cargo has announced an expansion of its scheduled services between Hong Kong (HKG) and Dhaka (DAC), increasing operations to twice weekly effective 2 September 2025. The decision comes as part of the carrier’s efforts to strengthen its presence in South Asia and to respond to the rising demand for air freight capacity between the two cities.
The additional service is expected to benefit exporters and importers alike, providing enhanced frequency, greater flexibility, and improved access to one of the fastest-growing markets in the region. Bangladesh continues to play a vital role in the global supply chain, especially with its dominance in textiles, apparel, and pharmaceuticals. The new flights will help ensure that time-sensitive shipments from Dhaka reach Hong Kong efficiently, while also enabling smoother connections to Hong Kong’s wider global cargo network.
The revised schedule will see flight RH6651 depart Hong Kong on Tuesdays at 18:50, arriving in Dhaka at 20:50, and again on Saturdays at 10:20, landing at 12:20. The return leg, RH6652, will leave Dhaka on Tuesdays at 22:20 and reach Hong Kong at 04:15 the following morning, with Saturday departures at 13:50, arriving at 19:45. All times are local.
By adding a second weekly frequency, Hong Kong Air Cargo is consolidating its operational footprint in South Asia while offering its customers more reliable solutions for cargo planning. The move also reflects the airline’s ongoing commitment to building sustainable trade lanes and supporting cross-border logistics growth across the region.
