United Cargo has partnered with CargoAi to boost digital connectivity in the airfreight sector. Through the integration, United Cargo’s domestic and international capacity is now available on CargoAi’s platform, giving over 23,000 freight forwarders access to real-time rates, bookable space, and eBooking for both General Cargo and Express services. Bookings can be made via the CargoAi marketplace or through direct links with leading Transport Management Systems (TMS), enhancing visibility and automation across multiple booking channels, according to an official release from United Cargo.

The collaboration spans several key markets, including the United States (with domestic services), Canada, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, and Portugal. This broad coverage provides freight forwarders with increased flexibility and access to global capacity, while giving airlines and digital platforms new opportunities to simplify processes and enhance efficiency.

“United Cargo’s decision to join the CargoAi ecosystem reflects a shared vision for the future of air cargo, one where digital connectivity, automation, and collaboration define how airlines and forwarders work together. By combining United Cargo’s global reach with our technology and Interline capabilities, we are building a foundation for a more agile, transparent, and customer-centric airfreight industry, ready to meet the demands of tomorrow’s supply chains,” says Matthieu Petot, CEO of CargoAi.

A central feature of the partnership is the integration of CargoAi’s CargoMART Interline module, which automates the interline booking process. By enabling real-time capacity checks and instant e-bookings, the module reduces the need for manual communication and accelerates transactions. Already adopted by multiple carriers, the solution supports seamless API integration across more than 100 airlines, creating a standardised and efficient approach to interline bookings without requiring significant IT resources.

“This collaboration with CargoAi reflects our shared commitment to making air cargo booking more accessible, efficient, and transparent. By connecting our capacity with CargoAi’s digital platform, we’re creating new opportunities not only for our customers but also for the wider freight forwarding community and partner airlines,” says Helen Kristensen, VP United Cargo SIGMA+ Team (Strategy, Innovation, Government, Marketing & AirMail).

This development underscores the industry’s broader shift toward digitisation, enabling freight forwarders, airlines, and technology platforms to benefit from more seamless, transparent, and connected booking processes. It reflects a collective effort to modernise air cargo logistics and make capacity more easily accessible across a wider global network, the release added.
