DHL Group extends CEO Tobias Meyer’s contract until 2031

Supervisory Board backs Meyer’s leadership after Strategy 2025 success and rollout of Strategy 2030.

The Supervisory Board of Deutsche Post AG has extended the contract of chief executive officer Tobias Meyer until March 2031, reaffirming its confidence in his leadership of the global logistics group.

Meyer has been a member of the Board of Management of DHL Group since 2019 and has served as CEO since 2023. The board said the decision reflects its trust in his ability to continue guiding the company’s strategic transformation and growth.

“Under the leadership of Tobias Meyer, the Group successfully completed Strategy 2025 and sustainably increased DHL Group’s profitability,” said Katrin Suder.

She added that Strategy 2030, developed by Meyer and his team, positions the company to pursue targeted growth even in a challenging market environment.

By extending Meyer’s contract, the Supervisory Board signalled continued support for the current leadership and its plans to drive the next phase of the company’s strategy.
