Air Partner Cargo, a Wheels Up Company, has delivered 49 tons of emergency relief supplies from Panama to Kingston, Jamaica, to support communities severely impacted by Hurricane Melissa. The urgent mission formed part of a wider global humanitarian effort to restore shelter and infrastructure after the storm left thousands without homes and disrupted essential services.

The flight was operated by an Atlas Air Boeing 767 Freighter, selected for its reliability and ability to move large volumes of cargo quickly during emergencies. Air Partner Cargo coordinated the operation to ensure the aid reached Kingston in a seamless and timely manner.

The shipment included tarpaulins for temporary roofing and shelter, construction equipment to rebuild essential facilities, and other emergency materials needed to stabilise affected communities. The rapid deployment of these supplies aims to support immediate recovery efforts across the region.

Eliska Hill, EVP Cargo, said Air Partner’s swift mobilisation and partnership with Atlas Air highlight the importance of strong logistics networks during disaster response.
