Chicago Rockford launches DSV Incheon freighter service
The weekly Saturday flight strengthens dedicated cargo connectivity between the United States, Europe and Asia, with Chennai set to become the next destination later this year.
Chicago Rockford International Airport (RFD) has strengthened its Asian cargo network with the launch of a new scheduled DSV freighter service connecting the airport with Incheon International Airport (ICN) in South Korea.
The weekly service expands dedicated cargo connectivity between the United States, Europe and Asia. The flight will depart from RFD every Saturday.
The new service builds on DSV’s existing scheduled connections from RFD to Shanghai Pudong International Airport, launched in November 2025, and Luxembourg Airport, launched in June 2026. Together, the three services further strengthen RFD’s position as a cargo gateway linking Asia, Europe and the Americas.
“The launch of our Incheon service marks another important milestone in our long-term strategy to increase Rockford’s connectivity with Asia,” said Zack Oakley, Executive Director, RFD.
“Together with our Shanghai and Luxembourg services, we offer reliable, scheduled connections linking the United States with Europe and Asia through a dedicated cargo airport built around speed, efficiency, and operational reliability.”
Mohamed Siraj, VP Air Direct / Global Gateways, DSV, said Incheon is one of Asia’s most important cargo hubs and that the new service will provide reliable capacity and connectivity through the network DSV is building via Rockford.
He added that the airport has consistently demonstrated the operational reliability and flexibility needed to support scheduled international freighter services, making it a natural choice as DSV continues to develop its air cargo operations.
RFD and DSV also plan to launch a new scheduled service connecting Rockford with Chennai International Airport later this year.
