CEVA Logistics, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, announced the successful closing of its acquisition of Turkey’s leading domestic logistics firm, Borusan Tedarik Zinciri Çözümleri ve Teknoloji Şirketi (Borusan Lojistik), for $383 million.

The purchase of 100% of the Borusan entity, which was originally announced on April 26, 2025, positions CEVA as a dominant player in the highly dynamic Turkish 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) market.

The acquisition has been finalised following the necessary regulatory approvals, marking a step in CEVA's global expansion strategy. Privately held Borusan Holding sold a 69.47% stake, while the remaining 30.53% was held by publicly traded Borusan Yatırım. The operations of Borusan Port, previously associated with the logistics brand, will remain under Borusan Holding.

Mathieu Friedberg, CEO of CEVA Logistics said, “The Turkish economy and its domestic logistics market are dynamic. This growth, combined with the country’s strategic location along the India, Middle East, Europe Corridor, opens a wide array of opportunities for our new size and breadth of logistics solutions. With our combined business, Turkey now represents CEVA’s third-largest country by gross revenue.”

Footprint and growth
The company now manages approximately 1,190,000 square meters of warehouse space. In ground transport, the combined entities will handle nearly 1 million domestic Full Truckload (FTL) transports annually.

Additionally, Borusan Lojistik’s Less Than Truckload (LTL) activities will enhance CEVA’s current network, including its connections to Europe. Through Borusan Lojistik’s operations, CEVA will also gain a leading position in finished vehicle logistics, as well as air and ocean transport.
