AviusULD promotes Charles Drummond as CEO

CCE Group announced the promotion of Charles Drummond to the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AviusULD.

Drummond’s promotion follows his successful tenure as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of AviusULD, a position he has held since January 2024, according to an official release from CCE Group.

Drummond says: “I am excited to be appointed as CEO of AviusULD, a company I have known and respected for over 12 years—first as a customer and more recently as a team member. Over the past two years, I’ve had the privilege of serving as Head of Sales and then COO, witnessing firsthand the incredible talent, technical expertise, and dedication of our team, as well as the immense potential of our business. My career has always been driven by a commitment to engineering excellence and innovation, and I am eager to continue building on AviusULD’s strong foundation of operational excellence while driving forward our ambitions for product innovation and commercial success.”

As CEO, Drummond will be at the forefront of AviusULD’s mission to deliver innovative solutions and customer service. “His strategic vision includes expanding AviusULD’s product offerings, enhancing operational capabilities, and deepening the company’s commitment to sustainability within the ULD industry.”

In his role as COO, Drummond was responsible for overseeing key operational areas, including sales and business development, purchasing, and plant management, says the release.

Klaus Hofmann, who has served as CEO of AviusULD, will now be the Group CEO of CCE Group. Hofmann adds: “Charles is the perfect choice to lead AviusULD into the future. His profound understanding of the business, coupled with his innovative mindset and steadfast commitment to our values, will be crucial in driving the company to new heights. I am confident that under his guidance, AviusULD will continue to set new standards of excellence in the industry.”
