Havas will continue to offer its ground handling services for Qatar Airways Cargo for cargo and warehouse services for five more years.

Havas, the ground handling company, will continue to offer its ground handling services for Qatar Airways Cargo for cargo and warehouse services for five more years.

Providing full-fledged ground handling services to over 200 airline companies in its portfolio at international standards, Havas signed an agreement with Qatar Airways Cargo to extend the long-term ground handling partnership until the end of 2025. According to the renewed agreement, Havas will continue to provide cargo and warehouse services at Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Antalya airports to Qatar Airways Cargo; as well as cargo services at Adana Airport.

Undertaking the handling process for import and export cargo of Qatar Airways Cargo, Havas will also continue to provide bonded cargo service between its warehouses to Qatar Airways Cargo with its reefer trucks designed to transport perishable cargo.

Havas general manager S. Mete Erna stated, ‘’At Havas, we attach priority to continuously improve our activities in line with the latest trends and add value to our airline partnerships with a particular focus on customer satisfaction. We are very glad to extend our service agreement with Qatar Airways Cargo to create synergy on cargo and warehouse services. Since the past two years, we have been using reefer trucks designed for the equipment fleet of our warehouses to transport special cargo such as medicine, food, etc. in Turkey. Havas is the first company in ground handling services in Turkey to use reefer trucks. Furthermore, we doubled the size of our warehouse at Istanbul Airport with an approximate investment of €11 million, while also investing in several brand-new technologies and hardware at our warehouse facilities at Ankara, Izmir and Antalya airports covering a total area of 20,457 square meters; and set an example in the sector. We will continue to increase the efficiency of our operations and adopt innovations to contribute to the success of all our business partners.”

Havas undertakes handling of general cargo as well as special cargo including perishable cargo, live animals, cargo containing dangerous goods and radioactive materials, etc. at its warehouses within Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Antalya airports.
