Conan Busby, head of cargo and business aviation at Manchester Airport Group (MAG Airports) has stepped down from his position after being associated with the airport group’s East Midlands Airport (EMA) for close to 15 years.

East Midlands Airport handles over 328,000 tonnes of cargo each year and is the UK hub for DHL, TNT and UPS, and also UK's main air hub for Royal Mail.

“I leave with EMA’s cargo business achieving record performance and am proud to have helped solidify it as the national asset it is. More importantly though, I leave having learnt so much from colleagues and customers I’ve worked with over the years in logistics, business aviation, operations and airport planning. So thank you,” Busby expressed his gratitude to his colleagues and customers in a LinkedIn post announcing his exit from MAG Airports.

Busby’s next move is still unknown as he scouts for a new role. “I will now join the thousands of other people seeking a new home and am excited by the prospect of learning and hopefully being able to deploy the knowledge and experience I have gained to the benefit of others,” he added.
