Gabriel Oliva joins as head and executive vice president of Avianca Cargo
Avianca Holidays Cargo appoints Gabriel Oliva as the new head and executive vice president. Oliva has more than 20 years of industry experience. He aims to build and execute a long-term strategy that positions Avianca Cargo as a leader in the region.
Gabriel Oliva has been appointed as the executive vice president and head of the Avianca Holdings Cargo unit as of August 18, 2021. He will also be responsible for Deprisa, accompanied by Susana Argueta, and will have a seat on the management team of the Holding.

Oliva has more than 20 years of experience in executive positions in various functions and industries, specifically in the airline sector he has more than 10 years. In his most recent role, he held the position of Senior Vice President for North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific at Latam Cargo. Previously, he led the areas of Global Transformation, Alliances and Interlines, Marketing and Customer Experience, Product Development and Revenue Management for North America and Asia.
