JD.com launches JoyExpress in Europe to support Joybuy logistics push
JD Logistics plans to extend the delivery network to external business partners at a later stage as parcel volumes grow.

JD.com has announced the launch of JoyExpress, a dedicated express delivery service in Europe, as the company expands its supply chain and logistics network to support the rollout of its online retail business Joybuy. The service operates under JINGDONG Logistics and will initially focus on last-mile operations across the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and France, with same-day and next-day delivery planned in major cities.
The move comes as Joybuy prepares for a wider launch following a beta testing phase ahead of March 2026. The company said the delivery network will operate from more than 60 warehouses and depots across Europe, with further expansion expected as the retail platform enters additional markets, including Belgium and Luxembourg. JoyExpress will also provide delivery and installation services for large home appliances in selected urban areas.
JoyExpress forms part of JD Logistics’ integrated supply chain model covering warehousing, transportation, large item logistics, cold chain and end-to-end management. The company said the network is supported by intelligent warehousing systems, automation and data-led operations aimed at improving delivery performance and supporting cross-border logistics flows linked to e-commerce demand.
“JoyExpress offers Europe a new delivery and logistics choice,” said Axel Eggenwirth, Senior Director, Last Mile Europe, JINGDONG Logistics. “We look forward to bringing our industry-leading technology and capabilities to the market and consumers across France, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK, while enhancing our supply chain logistics capabilities in sectors such as electronics, home appliances, fast-moving consumer goods and groceries.
“With JoyExpress, Joybuy customers will have access to a cutting-edge, world-class fulfilment team for all their delivery needs. JoyExpress will help deliver Joybuy’s seamless, trusted, and joyful shopping experience to customers in Europe. JoyExpress will offer speed in every step and joy in every box.”
The company said the JoyExpress fleet will include trucks, vans and electric bicycles, with delivery teams operating in branded uniforms and vehicles. While the service will initially support Joybuy shipments, JD Logistics plans to extend the delivery network to external business partners at a later stage as parcel volumes grow.
JINGDONG Logistics continues to build an international network anchored by local warehousing and integrated transport capabilities. As of September 2025, the company reported more than 1,600 self-operated warehouses and 2,000 third-party cloud warehouses across 24 markets, alongside a network of bonded and overseas distribution facilities aimed at supporting cross-border trade and supply chain flows.
