X

Boeing has reached a major milestone in the development of its next-generation cargo aircraft, the 777-8 Freighter. At the Everett Factory, the first wing-body join has been completed, marking the moment this advanced freighter begins to physically take shape.

Designed as part of the 777X programme, the 777-8F will carry up to 118 tonnes of payload, with a range of over 8,000 kilometers. It features folding wingtips for better airport compatibility and will be powered by GE9X engines, delivering improved fuel efficiency and reduced noise.

With strong global demand and orders already secured, the aircraft is expected to play a key role in replacing aging freighters and shaping the future of air cargo.
