Virginie Delcroix joins GEODIS Executive Committee
Delcroix's addition brings the total number of female members of the GEODIS Executive Committee to five.
Virginie Delcroix has joined GEODIS as Executive Vice President, Sustainable Development, reporting to Chief Executive Officer Marie-Christine Lombard. This appointment reaffirms Madame Lombard's commitment to putting CSR performance at the center of the Group's strategy.
Virginie Delcroix has been Vice President of Sustainable Development at the Arkema group, where she was a member of the management committee, since 2017. She was responsible for CSR and product safety and regulatory issues.
Delcroix will be responsible at GEODIS for carrying on the Group's dynamic social commitment, which is devoted to providing its customers with ever more sustainable solutions in collaboration with its partners and staff. Her top priorities will be decarbonization, resource conservation, and environmental protection, as well as the safety and well-being of the Group's employees.
Delcroix's career in the industry began when she graduated from the Ecole des Mines de Nancy. She was technical director and innovation director at Novacel from 1999 until 2011, before taking over as R&D director for Bostik, an Arkema group firm, throughout South Europe (2011-2017).
