Nippon Cargo Airlines, based in Japan, has issued a halt of its flight operations due to the current situation in Russia and Ukraine. Today, the freight airline issued a list of flights that would be cancelled in the following days.

The airline operates scheduled cargo flights in Asia, Europe, and North America. Flights between Narita and Milan MXP and Schiphol are affected by the prolonged stoppage.

As per the official announcement, flights from Narita to Amsterdam have been cancelled on March 8, 9, and 12. Flights from Amsterdam to Narita via Milan will be unavailable on March 7, 9, 10, and 12. Flights from Milan to Narita have been cancelled on the 13th of March.

"We are currently investigating air routes that do not pass through Russian airspace. We are aiming to resume our European flights as soon as possible," NCA said in the official release.

On March 3, the airline made the first announcement of route suspension, along with a list of flights that will be unavailable in the next days.

With the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv under Russian siege and commercial airspace over Ukraine and Russia limited, the aviation freight business, particularly the Volga-Dnepr group airlines, is under strain.
