June 11, 2018: In the first four months of 2018, Latin America’s leading air cargo gateway RIOgaleão Cargo has seen 160 percent increase year-on-year in the import of automotive shipments.

In tonnes, this percentage represents around 890 tonnes imported in 2018 compared to 342 tonnes in 2017.

“According to ANFAVEA, National Association of Automobile Manufacturers, vehicle production in Brazil rose 20.7 percent from January to April. This information proves that the growth of RIOgaleão Cargo in the first four months is in total synergy with the evolution of this market,” according to press release on their website.
