Lufthansa Cargo announces merger of CB Customs Broker, heyworld

The new company will offer high-volume cross-border shippers improved service quality and deeper expertise.;

The two Lufthansa Cargo subsidiaries, CB Customs Broker and heyworld, will merge their expertise and strengths within a single company effective 1st Jan 2026.

CB Customs Broker, an expert in EU customs clearance, and heyworld, a digital logistics platform for cross-border e-commerce logistics solutions, are merging to combine their strengths and deliver an integrated, one-stop solution for parcel-level cross-border logistics.

Customers with high volumes of cross-border parcel shipments will benefit from enhanced service quality and expertise through the newly formed company. Its tailored logistics offering combines advanced customs brokerage with cross-border logistics solutions and seamless digital integration. This holistic approach aims to deliver greater speed, transparency, and efficiency across the entire supply chain.

The new company will be jointly led by Murat Odabas, Managing Director of CB Customs Broker, and Nikola Todic, Managing Director of heyworld. Lufthansa Cargo’s Executive Board expressed appreciation to Uwe Glunz, Managing Director of CB Customs Broker, and Boris Hueske, Managing Director of heyworld, acknowledging their contributions in recent years. The two executives will continue within the Lufthansa Cargo Group in new positions.
