FedEx backs NFL’s first regular-season game in France
The NFL will stage its first regular-season game in France on 25 October 2026, with FedEx continuing its 25-year partnership and supporting the league’s international expansion.
The National Football League (NFL) will host its first regular-season game in France on 25 October 2026, with the Pittsburgh Steelers facing the New Orleans Saints at Stade de France in Paris. The event marks another step in the league’s international expansion as it seeks to grow its fanbase across Europe.
FedEx, which has partnered with the NFL for more than 25 years, will continue supporting the league’s international games as part of its 2026 European schedule. The partnership, which began in the United States, has expanded alongside the NFL’s global presence, covering events across Europe, Australia and South America.
As part of its involvement in the Paris game, a FedEx team member will deliver the official game ball onto the field before kickoff. The company has supported several NFL regular-season games in Europe in recent years and will participate in a 2026 international schedule that also features matches in London, Munich and Madrid.
The partnership reflects the continued expansion of the NFL’s international games programme, which brings regular-season fixtures to markets outside the United States and introduces the sport to new audiences.
Tracie Rodburg, senior vice president of global partnerships at the NFL, said, “As we bring the NFL to France for the first time, it’s special to celebrate that moment with a partner that has been with us for more than 25 years. Seeing a FedEx team member carry the game ball onto the field is a fitting way to recognise a partnership that has grown alongside the game for decades.”
Jean-Christophe Damond, managing director marketing, FedEx Europe, said, “It’s incredibly exciting to see the NFL bring its first-ever regular season game to France. We’ve been proud partners of the NFL for over 25 years, and being part of this historic moment in Paris is a great way to celebrate that journey. The opportunity for a FedEx team member to deliver the official game ball onto the field adds a personal touch and makes the occasion even more memorable for us.”
In addition to its NFL partnership, FedEx sponsors several major sporting properties worldwide, including the UEFA Champions League, the FedExCup and the FedEx Open de France. These partnerships reflect the company’s long-term commitment to sports and align with its values of excellence, precision, consistency and performance under pressure. They also provide a platform for FedEx to strengthen engagement with customers, business partners, employees, and local communities while building relationships beyond brand visibility.
