WFS appoints Eric Malitzke as COO to lead EMEA operations

WFS has appointed Eric Malitzke as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, effective 30 March 2026.

The company in it's LinkedIn post said the new role reflects its continued growth and focus on strengthening operational performance across its expanding network. As COO, Malitzke will oversee the management and development of wholly owned country entities in the region and will work closely with regional functional leaders to improve performance and support sustainable growth.

Malitzke brings over 20 years of international experience across logistics, aviation and e-commerce. He has previously held senior roles at DPD, Amazon and DHL, and has also served on boards within the European logistics sector.

WFS said his industry expertise and leadership experience will support the company’s strategic priorities in the EMEA region. The company added that it looks forward to working with him to further strengthen and develop its regional network.
