Air Europa Cargo renews 5-year WFS deal in Spain operations
Deal covers Madrid and Barcelona, ensuring continued cargo handling support and operational stability across key routes
Air Europa Cargo has signed a five-year renewal of its cargo handling agreement with Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), covering operations in Madrid and Barcelona. The renewed deal strengthens the long-standing partnership between the two companies in Spain.
The agreement continues a collaboration that first began in Madrid and was later extended to Barcelona. Under the renewed contract, WFS will keep providing cargo handling services for Air Europa Cargo’s operations at both airports.
In Madrid, WFS supports a large number of the airline’s flights, handling cargo across domestic, European and long-haul routes. This includes services connecting Spain with destinations in the United States and South America. In Barcelona, WFS also manages cargo handling for the airline’s regular flight operations.
Air Europa Cargo said the renewal reflects its confidence in WFS as a handling partner and supports its focus on maintaining service quality, operational efficiency and safety across its network. The airline added that the agreement will help strengthen its cargo services and support its continued growth.
WFS said it will continue to support Air Europa Cargo’s operations in both cities, focusing on service delivery and ongoing improvements in its cargo handling processes. The company also highlighted its commitment to maintaining high standards and supporting the airline’s future requirements in Spain.
