SATS, Air China Cargo agree to deepen global cargo collaboration

Partnership will focus on cargo handling, integrated logistics, digital tools and growth across major international markets.;

SATS said it has agreed to deepen collaboration with Air China Cargo following a recent strategic meeting held in China between senior leaders of both companies, including SATS President & CEO Kerry Mok and Chen Song, Chairman of Air Cargo China.

Building on SATS’ global footprint, the two sides agreed to strengthen cooperation across key markets in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, with a focus on joint growth in cargo handling and integrated logistics solutions. The discussions highlighted closer collaboration in air cargo transportation, cargo terminal services and integrated logistics, alongside the development of intelligent cargo terminal services using artificial intelligence and digital tools to improve efficiency and visibility. Both companies also discussed potential opportunities in strategic investments and network development to support future growth.

The meeting was described as a key milestone for Air China Cargo in its efforts to build a safe and reliable international air cargo supply chain. As China’s only national flag cargo airline, Air China Cargo said it remains committed to delivering efficient global logistics solutions through enhanced safety, network expansion and capacity growth, in line with China’s transportation and logistics power strategies.

SATS said the engagement reinforces its commitment to strengthening partnerships with key airline customers and to building a safe, reliable and resilient international air cargo supply chain that supports global trade and evolving customer needs.
