Menzies rolls out digital truck management platform
The digital platform will streamline truck bookings, reduce queues and improve cargo visibility at five Menzies locations, with Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland.
Menzies Aviation has introduced Nallian’s Truck Visit Management (TVM) platform at its air cargo operations in Prague and Vancouver, enabling digital slot booking, driver and vehicle validation, and coordinated yard management.
The deployments mark the first phase of a global rollout announced in October 2025. The platform is scheduled to launch in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland in January 2027, bringing the initial deployment to five locations that collectively handle more than 500,000 tonnes of cargo annually.
The platform lets trucking companies reserve time slots in advance while giving Menzies’ cargo warehouse teams greater visibility into expected truck arrivals. The system is designed to manage peak traffic periods, reduce queues and improve coordination between drivers, freight forwarders and warehouse teams during cargo handovers.
TVM is integrated with Menzies Aviation Cargo Handling (MACH), the company’s cloud-based cargo management platform developed in collaboration with Wipro. MACH is currently used at 53 Menzies locations. The integration provides warehouse and yard teams with a shared, real-time view of truck activity at each station, supporting more coordinated cargo operations and more predictable truck movements.
Beau Paine, Executive Vice President, Cargo, Menzies Aviation, said, “Nallian’s TVM gives trucking companies greater certainty and our cargo teams better visibility of incoming vehicles. It reduces manual coordination and supports our wider strategy to deliver safer, more efficient and more predictable cargo operations, with a better experience for our customers.”
Jean Verheyen, CEO, Nallian, said, “The Prague and Vancouver launches show how the same platform can be introduced across cargo operations with different local requirements. Each station that goes live adds to a proven, repeatable model, and we’re looking forward to Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland joining the network in the new year.”
