JAS Worldwide appoints Mazzacurati, Wieringa to key leadership roles

JAS Worldwide has announced two major leadership appointments, naming Manuele Mazzacurati as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Ferwin Wieringa as Vice President Sales & Marketing for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. The company shared the updates in LinkedIn announcements this week.

Mazzacurati, who has been with JAS for nearly 19 years, moves up the organisational hierarchy to become Chief Commercial Officer. He previously served as Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing and has held diverse leadership positions in operations, sales and management across regions including Mexico, Panama and the broader Americas. As CCO, he will lead JAS’s global commercial strategy, deepen customer engagement and support sustainable growth.

Wieringa joins JAS from outside the organisation to take on the role of Vice President Sales & Marketing for EMEA. In his LinkedIn post, he said he was proud and pleased to share the news and looked forward to working with colleagues, customers and partners in the region and around the world. He thanked senior leaders at JAS for their trust and conversations so far, and wished everyone continued success and good health in 2026.

Before joining JAS, Wieringa built more than three decades of experience in the logistics and supply chain industry. His career includes senior roles at Panalpina, CEVA and Maersk Air Cargo, where he worked across global markets and developed deep expertise in air freight and supply chain solutions.

The LinkedIn posts did not provide specific details on Wieringa’s plans for the EMEA region or on Mazzacurati’s strategic priorities as CCO.
