GA Telesis has placed a Boeing 737-800SF freighter on lease to Airwork New Zealand, marking its eighth freighter delivery completed using the Aeronautical Engineers Inc. (AEI) developed Supplemental Type Certificate (STC).
The aircraft was delivered through GA Telesis’ LIFT (Leasing, Investments, Finance and Trading) division. The latest placement follows the conversion and leasing of another 737-800SF freighter and highlights the company’s ongoing freighter delivery activity.
GA Telesis said the transaction reflects its ability to support global freighter programmes by drawing on its technical expertise and asset management capabilities. The company added that the delivery underlines its focus on providing long-term value and solutions to customers.
Commenting on the lease, David Ellis, Chief Commercial Officer of LIFT, said GA Telesis was pleased to expand its relationship with Airwork and welcome the carrier as a lease customer. He also noted Airwork’s established reputation and presence in New Zealand and across the South Pacific.
