AGI Cargo has extended its freighter ground handling partnership with LATAM Cargo at Miami International Airport (MIA) for another five years, reinforcing a decade of collaboration at one of the world’s busiest cargo hubs. The renewed contract will begin in June 2026 and continue through 2031.

AGI, a leading cargo and ground handling service provider in North America, has supported LATAM Cargo’s operations at MIA since 2015. Under the new agreement, the company will continue managing around 5,400 freighter flights each year, with volumes expected to rise as global air cargo demand increases.

Jared Azcuy, CEO of AGI, said the partnership reflects the company’s long-term commitment to LATAM Cargo and its dedication to maintaining the highest standards of safety, reliability, and service excellence.

The renewal also highlights AGI’s continued investment in infrastructure and safety at Miami International Airport. Over recent years, the company has invested more than $10 million in safety-related improvements to create a secure and efficient operating environment for airline partners and staff.

Serving as a vital link between North and South America, MIA remains a central hub for international cargo traffic. With LATAM Cargo’s extensive regional network and AGI’s operational expertise, the partnership continues to play a key role in supporting the flow of goods across the Americas.
