TIACA appoints ESG Consultancy as validator for BlueSky assessments
ESG Consultancy brings expertise in ESG reporting, auditing and consulting services
The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) has appointed ESG Consultancy, a leading firm specialising in environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria as an independent validator for BlueSky assessments.
"The agreement with ESG Consultancy will ensure the current methodology and protocols for the BlueSky programme developed by TIACA and Change Horizon are maintained for current and future participants," says an official release from TIACA.
ESG Consultancy brings a wealth of expertise in ESG reporting, auditing and consulting services, making them a natural fit for ensuring the integrity and transparency of the BlueSky programme, the release added.
“We are excited to work with ESG Consultancy as the newest independent validator for BlueSky," says Steven Polmans, Chair, TIACA. "They have shown alignment with key principles that were part of the development of the BlueSky programme. Their expertise and knowledge of ESG standards will only add value to the BlueSky programme."
Francine Carron, CEO, ESG Consultancy adds: "We are thrilled and honoured to be appointed as the independent validator for the BlueSky assessments. Our expertise in ESG will ensure that sustainability in the air cargo industry is not just a goal but a reality."
Glyn Hughes, Director General, TIACA says: “ESG Consultancy has shown a commitment to ensure that the BlueSky assessments are conducted with the same high standards as previous assessments. We look forward to working with them as we continue to develop the programme."
The BlueSky programme offers companies the opportunity to not only assess where they are on their sustainability journey but also allows them to commit to improving programmes across eight key objectives set out within TIACA’s Air Cargo Sustainability Roadmap, the release added.
