Teleport, MASkargo tie up to boost Southeast Asia cargo links
The partnership aims to enable smoother cargo movement across regional trade lanes and respond to demand across markets within Southeast Asia.

Teleport, the logistics arm of Capital A Berhad, and MASkargo, the cargo division of Malaysia Aviation Group, have announced a collaboration to strengthen air cargo connectivity across Southeast Asia and support regional trade flows.
The agreement brings together Teleport’s intra-Southeast Asia network with MASkargo’s global operations. The partnership aims to enable smoother cargo movement across regional trade lanes and respond to demand across markets within Southeast Asia.
As part of the collaboration, MASkargo will use freighter capacity operated by Teleport on selected routes, including Kuala Lumpur–Phnom Penh services. The move is expected to improve access to cargo gateways and support cargo flows into markets such as Cambodia.
The partnership comes at a time when intraregional trade in Southeast Asia is seeing growth, driven by e-commerce, perishables and general cargo. MASkargo said the collaboration will improve transit times, routing options and network flexibility by integrating with Teleport's network. The airline added that the arrangement will support its ability to scale capacity through a more responsive operating model.
Jan Philipp Pöter, Chief Business Officer of Teleport, said, “We are pleased to support MASkargo by quickly activating the Kuala Lumpur – Phnom Penh – Kuala Lumpur sector with the deployment of our A321F to connect MASkargo’s captured demand into their global network via Kuala Lumpur, unlocking stronger trade flows between Cambodia and international markets. This partnership model allows global airlines who work with Teleport to quickly respond and navigate capacity and network deployment, enabling faster, more efficient growth."
Mohd Nadziruddin Mohd Basri, Chief Executive Officer of Aviation Services from Malaysia Aviation Group, said, “By working together with Teleport, we are able to expand our capacity with greater flexibility, better align our network with evolving market demand, and maintain the high standards of reliability and service our customers expect. Against a backdrop of sustained industry growth, with global air cargo demand rising by over 11% year-on-year in February, this partnership positions us well to capture emerging opportunities and support growing trade flows across the region, particularly as supply chains continue to adapt and shift towards resilient regional corridors.”
Teleport and MASkargo said the collaboration will support their role in facilitating regional trade through integrated air cargo services and improved network coordination across Southeast Asia.
