TAM Group, a leading GSA/GSSA in Asia and the Americas has recently announced several senior-level appointments, coinciding with the opening of new offices in North and South America.

Following a major rebranding in August 2022, during which TAM Group unveiled a new brand image, logo, website, and company vision, the appointments mark a new chapter of growth for the organization, which currently has 23 offices in 13 cities across 8 countries, including Hong Kong, Mainland China, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, the USA, and Chile. A new office in Brazil will connect South America to the world.

TAM Group Recruits New Talent to Accelerate Growth
In order to seize growth opportunities presented in the Americas, TAM Group has also recruited several senior-level executives, who will use their extensive knowledge and experience to lead TAM Group to success in these markets.

Fernando Garreton, VP Americas
Fernando Garreton leads the group's foray into North, Central, and South America. Besides overseeing sales, services, and operations in the region, he is also a part of the Group's core business development team. He joined TAM Group in 2016 after amassing more than 25 years of experience in aviation, logistics, retail, and B2B services industries in the USA, Latin America, and Asia. He is a recognized figure in the industry and has been awarded various accolades including the "Best Executive of the Year" in the LATAM Cargo Group, 2012.

Alejandro Inga, AVP Americas
Alejandro Inga works with the VP of Americas to provide sales and marketing leadership in the Americas. Before joining TAM Group in 2022, he established himself as a global executive with experience working in consumer goods and B2B companies worldwide. He was named Executive of the Year at LATAM Cargo in 2016, having led a number of key merger projects.

Diego Burgo, Sales Manager, Midwest, and South Territories
Diego Burgo joined TAM Group in mid-2022 to head commercial activities in the USA Midwest and Texas. Throughout his 20-plus years of airfreight experience in North and South America, he filled various management roles with major airlines and GSAs, from leading sales teams to revenue management and pricing.

René Weinberg, General Manager Brazil
René Weinberg leads TAM Group's expansion in South America, where he leads and formulates development plans for the growth of the company while leading TAM Group's airline partners to success. He joined the Group in 2022 after 30 years in leadership positions with various carriers in South America and Europe. He has been recognized multiple times for his excellent performance under pressure and was awarded the Saudia Cargo Award of Excellence in 2018.
