SmartKargo, Bringer Air Cargo deploy platform to modernise cargo
The platform is intended to support a shift away from legacy cargo systems toward integrated and automated workflows.

SmartKargo and Bringer Air Cargo have entered a strategic collaboration to deploy an advanced cargo technology platform aimed at strengthening operational performance and supporting future growth.
The collaboration will see Bringer Air Cargo implement SmartKargo’s cargo management platform across its operations. The deployment will support booking, capacity management, operational control, analytics and customer engagement within a single digital environment.
The platform is intended to support a shift away from legacy cargo systems toward integrated and automated workflows. SmartKargo said the system connects commercial and operational processes, enabling airlines to improve capacity utilisation, enhance visibility and streamline cargo handling.
The partnership comes as airlines face rising demand from e-commerce shipments, time-sensitive cargo and increased customer expectations for transparency and speed. Technology modernisation has become central to improving efficiency and responding to fluctuating demand patterns.
“Air cargo is undergoing a fundamental transformation, with airlines seeking smarter, more flexible platforms that can evolve with their business,” said Olivier Houri, Chief Revenue Officer at SmartKargo. “Our collaboration with Bringer Air Cargo reflects a shared commitment to innovation and to building a technology foundation that supports operational excellence, scalability, and long-term growth.”
For Bringer Air Cargo, the deployment supports its strategy to scale operations while maintaining service standards. The company expects improved data visibility to help align capacity with demand, strengthen coordination across teams and improve responsiveness to market changes.
“Technology plays a critical role in how we deliver reliable and efficient cargo services,” said Eduardo G. De Castro, CTO for Bringer Air Cargo. “Partnering with SmartKargo allows us to strengthen our operational capabilities with a flexible, future-ready platform that supports our growth and our customers.”
The collaboration reflects a wider shift in the air cargo sector toward unified digital platforms designed to replace fragmented systems. Industry stakeholders are increasingly investing in technology that enhances reliability, improves customer experience and enables innovation across cargo operations.
