Maastricht Aachen Airport (MST) has added three cargo flights to its weekly schedule following new agreements with Turkish Cargo and My Freighter. The additional services, beginning in September, will expand MST’s connectivity between Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Turkish Cargo will increase its existing twice-weekly service with an additional Boeing 777 flight connecting Quito, Bogota, Miami, Istanbul, and Maastricht. The flights will carry flowers, vegetables, and other goods.

Uzbek carrier My Freighter will introduce a new twice-weekly Boeing 767-300 freighter service linking Shanghai, Tashkent, Almaty, and Maastricht. The airline will transport e-commerce shipments, automotive products, general cargo, and flowers.

MST recorded a 15% increase in cargo volumes up to July 2025 compared to the same period last year. Growth was supported by Atlas Air charter operations, the return of Turkish Cargo, and Ethiopian Cargo’s entry. Ethiopian Airlines currently operates twice-weekly Boeing 777 flights connecting Hong Kong, Addis Ababa, and Maastricht.

“With the addition of My Freighter and the expansion of Turkish Cargo services, we expect this upward trend to continue for the rest of the year,” said Dean Boljuncic, Head of Commercial Development at Maastricht Aachen Airport.

He added, “We are proud of our team that makes this growth possible. With our one-stop-shop model, ample capacity, and tailored services, we offer flexibility and high-quality service. MST’s team consistently shows the added value we provide to our customers through fast and flexible handling. Our speed is further enhanced by our AEO certification, which guarantees quick and secure customs clearance.”
