Hong Kong Air Cargo has begun scheduled freighter services between Hong Kong and Athens, Greece, on 2 February 2026, the carrier has announced. The twice‑weekly flights mark a further expansion of the airline’s European network, bringing Athens into its scheduled cargo route map as the 14th destination.

The new service operates every Monday and Thursday. Flight RH394 departs Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) at 08:00 and arrives in Athens (ATH) at 17:00 local time. The return flight, RH395, leaves Athens at 19:00 and reaches Hong Kong at 11:50 the following day.

Hong Kong Air Cargo said the launch reflects its ability to deliver tailored cargo solutions in response to specific demand, strengthening connectivity between Asia and Europe.

The carrier has also recently expanded its freighter fleet as part of a capacity growth programme. In early January 2026, Hong Kong Air Cargo welcomed its sixth Airbus A330‑200P2F (passenger‑to‑freighter converted aircraft), boosting its right‑sized cargo capacity for regional and long‑haul operations. The addition of the A330‑200P2F strengthens the airline’s ability to support customers with greater flexibility and reliability, as it continues to optimise its network and expand its freighter footprint across continents.

Sales for the new route are open, with enquiries being handled by the airline’s sales teams in Hong Kong and overseas.
