The new A320P2F, registered as A6-MVA, MSN 2164, is a 21.1-year-old aircraft. It was delivered to ST Aerospace Resources in November 2023 for conversion.
Fly Vaayu has a fleet of two A320P2F aircraft. The other A320P2F, registered as A6-RMA (MSN 2288), was also converted at ST Engineering Guangzhou and was ferried to Ras Al Khaimah International Airport on October 7, 2024. The aircraft is 20.5 years old, according to data from planespotters.net.
The other two A320P2Fs are currently in service with the Cairo-based Sky Vision Airlines and Pradhaan Air Express, India’s only A320P2F operator and the world’s first operator of A320 converted freighter. All four aircraft were converted by Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW), a joint venture between Airbus and ST Engineering.
Vaayu Group, the lessor that owns Fly Vaayu, delivered the world’s second A320P2F to Cairo-based Sky Vision Airlines in April last year.
Sky Vision Airlines also operates an A321P2F, registered as SU-SKF, which is 20.8 years old.
Vaayu Group was the launch customer for the first A320P2F and leased the aircraft to Pradhaan Air Express in 2022.
