Etihad Cargo launches airline-led training hub for global air cargo industry
Etihad Cargo’s Excellence Hub offers accredited learning across the cargo ecosystem.

Etihad Cargo, the cargo and logistics arm of Etihad Airways, has launched the Excellence Hub, describing it as the air cargo industry’s first airline-led logistics training community. Announced on June 24, 2026, the digital platform has been created to serve Etihad Cargo’s global network of employees, partners, customers and air cargo professionals by providing accredited training, standardised operational knowledge and industry-focused learning programmes. The initiative aims to strengthen safety, compliance, operational excellence and workforce development through accessible, technology-enabled education.
The Excellence Hub has been developed to establish consistent operational, safety and compliance standards across Etihad Cargo’s global partner ecosystem. According to the company, the platform is designed to improve service quality, strengthen risk management and align operational practices across international markets while supporting customer confidence and service reliability.
The digital training ecosystem offers specialised learning modules covering Etihad Cargo operating standards, product and service frameworks, safety and compliance requirements aligned with international regulations, and certified industry programmes developed with accredited institutions. The curriculum includes foundation courses, podcasts, masterclasses and executive education programmes, including a miniMBA, with users receiving accredited certifications after successfully completing learning pathways.
To improve engagement and encourage participation, the platform incorporates gamification features including points-based leaderboards and LinkedIn badges that recognise user progress and achievement. Etihad Cargo has also extended complimentary access to university students, allowing future industry professionals to participate in the platform and connect with a wider network of air cargo and academic stakeholders.
The Excellence Hub uses AI-enabled learning tools to provide personalised feedback and real-time performance analytics, helping users monitor development and adapt learning pathways.Built with a mobile-first design, the platform allows access across locations and time zones, positioning it as a global learning resource for the air cargo industry.
Stanislas Brun, Chief Cargo Officer at Etihad Airways, said the launch represents a new approach to building capability and maintaining service quality across the cargo ecosystem. “As the first logistics training academy established by an airline, it represents a significant step forward in how we approach knowledge, capability and service quality across our global network,” Brun said.
Dr Nadia Al Bastaki, Chief People and Corporate Affairs Officer at Etihad Airways, said the initiative reflects the company’s continued investment in people and professional development.
She added that the Excellence Hub is designed to strengthen operational excellence, customer service and efficiency while supporting career growth across the air cargo sector. The launch forms part of Etihad Cargo’s broader strategy focused on safety, compliance, operational excellence and long-term workforce development.
