Avianca Cargo announced its new route Miami – Florianopolis to increase connectivity with the Brazilian market.

"With the launch of this new destination, the company strengthens its presence in the South American country, offering a greater connection between North and South America with a weekly cargo frequency from Miami to Florianopolis," says an official release.

Diogo Elias, Senior Vice President, Avianca Cargo says: "At Avianca Cargo, we are constantly reviewing new opportunities for our customers in order to offer them greater possibilities for connecting their cargo. In this way, we are proud to continue expanding our route network with a sixth destination in Brazil in addition to the other five we already operate - São Paulo, Campinas, Manaus, Curitiba and Vitoria. With this new route, we will continue strengthening South America's connectivity with the rest of the world."

With the complete certification of all four categories of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) CEIV suite, and specifically the CEIV Lithium Batteries and CEIV Pharma certifications, Avianca Cargo ensures that the cargo on board arrives at its destination with highest quality standards, bearing in mind the commitment to the distinctive handling and transport of lithium batteries and technology goods as well as the transport of temperature-controlled and time-sensitive products, including vaccines and specialised pharmaceuticals, the release added.
