MOVIN has announced its entry into India’s healthcare logistics sector with the launch of MOVIN Healthcare. The company said the new vertical is designed to meet the rising demand for time-critical and temperature-controlled movement of pharmaceuticals, MedTech equipment, diagnostics and laboratory materials across the country.

The healthcare express logistics market, valued at USD 5.5–7.5 billion, is expanding as hospitals, laboratories and drug makers seek reliable delivery of sensitive medical supplies. MOVIN Healthcare will offer end-to-end temperature-controlled packaging across ranges of 2 to 8°C, 15 to 25°C and dry ice frozen levels between minus 80 and minus 20°C. These services are aimed at vaccines, medicines and clinical trial materials.

MOVIN said shipments will be managed through real-time monitoring and a 24x7 control tower. The services will include priority handling and carrier insurance for healthcare customers.

The company has introduced a Next Flight Out service for time-bound medical shipments. MOVIN said the service is intended to support faster movement of critical healthcare consignments, managed by trained staff.

Grégory Goba-Blé, Director of MOVIN Express and Head of UPS India, said, “It is not a package; it’s a patient for us. MOVIN’s entry into healthcare logistics reflects our commitment to strengthening India’s critical healthcare logistics segment. By combining UPS’s global logistics expertise along with InterGlobe’’s in-depth market knowledge, we have built a specialised vertical designed to meet the stringent compliance requirements and temperature-control challenges unique to India’s healthcare sector. MOVIN’s agile local network, focused investments in infrastructure, training for skilled manpower, and advanced monitoring technologies reaffirm our long-term vision to become the most trusted logistics partner for India’s rapidly expanding healthcare sector.”

MOVIN Healthcare will begin operations in 50 markets in its initial phase before expanding nationwide. The company said its processes include strict safety protocols supported by a quality assurance framework with corrective and preventive actions and transparent incident reporting.

MOVIN added that the new vertical will help strengthen the supply of essential medical products to healthcare providers, supporting timely patient care.
