With a challenging year almost behind us, the promising news from Covid-19 vaccines manufacturers have brought optimism and new energy to the air cargo industry. This year the bi-annual TIACA flagship event, the Digital Air Cargo Forum (ACF) will gather air cargo professionals together for a two-week online event to discuss the key industry issues, challenges and envision the future of the industry over the six webinars.

The topics of discussion include People4Cargo, which will focus on how the air cargo industry can make people the centre of their business strategy for a successful transformation and a sustainable future. There will also be a session called Sustainability4AirCargo, which will celebrate today’s innovations and also outline the strategies for the future; Airports4Cargo will focus on making airports profitable by developing efficient cargo communities.

The fourth webinar is called Cargo4Vaccines and focuses on preparing the air cargo industry for the delivery of the Covid-19 vaccines. The last two focus on Drones4Cargo and Uniting Air Cargo. While the first revolves around exploring the potential of drone deliveries of any size, the last is about collaboration within the industry and setting the vision for the air cargo industry in a post-Covid-19 world.

The event, which is in association with STAT Times, will also feature much anticipated announcements of the second Airfreight Readiness Survey results for the transportation of Covid-19 vaccines and the high-level overview of the first Air Cargo Sustainability Survey results.

The prestigious annual TIACA Hall of Fame Awards and the Air Cargo Sustainability Awards will be held online. It will recognise and celebrate the most talented industry professionals who have helped to advance industry efficiencies, have driven innovative and sustainable business practices for a better, more responsible and more resilient air cargo industry.
