March 8, 2018: In a latest development, Swissport International Ltd recently concluded the acquisition of Aerocare and its subsidiaries, Skycare, Carbridge and EasyCart, from Archer Capital.

It has received all regulatory approvals, including nod from the Foreign Investment Review Board of Australia. With this buyout, Aerocare has become 100 percent subsidiary of Swissport.

Aerocare is a leading aviation services and airport infrastructure services provider in Australia and New Zealand.

“The integration of Aerocare into Swissport is a key milestone in the execution of our growth strategy,” said Eric Born, group president & CEO of Swissport.

“Aerocare provides us with an entrance into Australia and New Zealand and it will serve as our platform to expand in the fast-growing Asia-Pacific markets,” said Born.

Founded in 1992, Aerocare currently a market leader in the region. It has over 3,000 employees and offer services to major domestic and international airlines across 36 airports in Australia and New Zealand.

Swissport through the acquisition of Aerocare acquisition has gains access to an attractive client base. The company manages over 160,000 flights and serves about 15 million passengers annually.
