August 9, 2018: SF Airlines has opened its international air cargo line from Shenzhen to Chennai, serving as an expansion of its international air cargo business. The line is undertaken by B767-300 freighter, which is considered as the longest international air line of SF Airlines till now.
In the recent years, with the benefit from the One Belt and Road Initiative and based on the stable growth of fleet size and sustainable improvement of operation quality, SF Airlines has successively opened international air cargo lines such as direct flight to Dhaka of Bangladesh and Hanoi of Vietnam.
The line from Shenzhen to Chennai is an air logistics solution of SF Airlines customised for customers’ demands as a response to the state’s One Belt and Road Initiative to transport general cargo, mainly from Xiaomi Corporation.
The airline also praised Shenzhen Airport Customs, Shenzhen Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection, and Shenzhen Airport Group for facilitating smooth launch of the new line.
