Dec 9, 2019: Saudi Arabia and South Korea have enhanced cooperation by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field of airports.

The MoU was signed between Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, minister of transport, chairman of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and Kim Hyun-mi, minister of lands, infrastructure and transport of South Korea, at the former's office on December 5.

The MoU between the two friendly countries includes several areas of cooperation, the most prominent of which is the exchange of experiences, information and knowledge regarding airports, its management and updating, and the development of policies and instructions related to safety and quality, methods of managing airport facilities, in addition to providing technical and professional services, and participation in training courses and work sessions related to the field of airports, The MOU also encourages the exchange of visits of experts and specialists between the two countries.
