IAG Cargo announce that it has remodelled British Airways’ two Boeing 777-200 aircraft by removing the seats to further increase their cargo-carrying capacity on these aircraft.

The first remodelled aircraft is scheduled to fly to Beijing on tomorrow, May 29, to collect PPE items for the United Kingdom National Health Service (NHS). With their seats removed, these B777s, now have an additional 100m³ of space available for essential cargo.

This news comes after IAG Cargo worked with British Airways, and loaded first ever mail, by The Royal Mail, into the cabin of a BA passenger aircraft on April 8 from London to Toronto.
