April 10, 2018: In the next 20 days, about 300 race horses will transit through Liege Airport from Miami, to take part at the Longines Global Champions Tour 2018 (LGCT), scheduled to take place at Shanghai, between April 20 and 22. The race horses are currently taking refuge at the Horse Inn facility of the Liege Airport.

After competing in Miami, the race horses are currently lodged at the Horse Inn facility of the Liege Airport. Emirates SkyCargo, the freight division of Emirates airline, will be transporting the race horses across the globe.

Horse Inn is an ultra-modern deluxe horse motel. It offers a perfect overnight stay for high-value horses during road and air transits. The facility is located at the heart of the Golden Triangle that links Amsterdam, Paris and Frankfurt, where horses can rest, receive necessary care, and get over their jet-lag.

LGCT is an annual international competition for top-level show jumping, which attracts 30 best riders from across the world to compete. The competition, which began at the end of March in Mexico, recently moved to Miami, and will subsequently move to Shanghai, Madrid and Paris.

Since it was inaugurated in 2016, Horse Inn has evolved as an ideal and perfect refuge for the equestrian community. The quality of service and tailored facilities offered by Liege Air Cargo Handling Services (LACHS), continue to strengthen its reputation internationally.
