Group Concorde, the General Sales & Service Agent (GSSA) for Lot Polish Airlines in India has successfully uplifted the highest cargo load 53,534 kg on a Dreamliner B789 on a single flight from Delhi to Warsaw on October 18. The flight has superseded the last record of 47,167 kg, which was uplifted a few days before on October 11. LOT Polish Airlines has been operating cargo-only flights from Delhi twice every week since May 2020 after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Prithviraj Singh Chug, director, Group Concorde said, “The flight had lots of automobile parts as well as pharmaceutical goods of shippers around the national capital region which made the single flight heavy.” The freight occupied the belly space, on-seats as well as overhead bins of the aircraft for maximum utilisation of space.

In a Linkedin post, Group Concorde said that a lot of effort went into the planning with the LOT Cargo and Group Concorde sales and operations team. They were assisted by the airport authorities and GHA who have achieved this milestone and set an example of excellent team spirit, complete dedication & commitment, especially in this challenging pandemic situation. The service provider also thanked LOT Polish Airlines management for having faith in them and all the stakeholders and for their continuous support to make this cargo operation successful.
